Here's a breakdown on how we create the grading scores for an InstaReport.

Overall Score:

Your Overall score is calculated by taking each reporting modules percentile, then calculating the average.

Listings:

Your Listings score is calculated based on your business name, address and phone number’s total accuracy percentile, then divided by 3. This gives an average listing accuracy score.

Reviews:

Your Reviews score is calculated by adding together the following custom metrics which are created by our weigh algorithm; reviews found in the last 6-months, industry reviews found in the last 6-months, average review score and average review sources.

Social:

Your Social score is calculated by comparing your metrics versus the industry average. Our weigh algorithm adds all 4 metrics together, divides it by 4, then compares it to the industry average within that category. The metrics that are calculated are page likes, average posts per month, average likes per post and average shares per post.

Website:

Your Website score is pulled directly from Google’s PageSpeed Insights (PSI). PSI provides a score which summarizes the page’s performance. This score is determined by running Lighthouse to collect and analyze lab data about the page. A score of 90 or above is considered fast, and 50 to 90 is considered average. Below 50 is considered to be slow.

SEO:

Your SEO score is determined by our weigh algorithm which assigns a value to 3 separate search engines (Google, Yahoo and Bing). We then track keyword ranking positions based on percentile scores, per value of each search engine, which results in a total score average.

Google Ads:

Your Google Ads score is calculated by taking the ad traffic and dividing it by the ad cost. Then doing this once again between you, versus your competitors, which results in a final average score.
