What is an InstaSite?

An InstaSite is a brand-new, complete website that you can use as a prospecting tool for potential clients.

We have over 200 available templates, each designed to satisfy a specific industry. When you select a website template, we take your prospect’s contact and business information and automatically inject it into the website wherever appropriate. As a result, you have a fully customized website that you can sell to your prospects.

Each of these sites comes complete with licensed images, SEO-optimized content, website hosting by Amazon Web Services, and an SSL Certificate to secure the website. Purchasing an InstaSite makes getting a new website for your business as simple as connecting to your custom domain.

Accessing InstaSites through Contacts

While using the InstaSites application is the primary method of creating and cataloging sites, you can also access them through the Contacts application. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts application by using the app drawer in the top-right corner of your dashboard.

  2. Select the contact you wish to use for the InstaSites service. This works for both People and Business contacts. Click on the contact name to load up the contact record.

  3. If you are new to this screen, we highly recommend reviewing our articles on how to use your contact records. You can find those here and here.

Otherwise, look to the right side of the screen to locate the InstaSites category. Click on it to expand.

  4. You will then see a list of all InstaSites associated with this client. If you are new to InstaSites, this field will be empty.

  5. You can click the + icon to begin working with InstaSites right from your contact records. Clicking this button will take you directly to the template store so that you can begin browsing sites for this specific contact.

You can learn more about how to create an InstaSite for a client here.

  6. After completing your InstaSite, it will then populate under the InstaSites category within the contact record. You and your team members will be able to easily review what sites were created for this client as well as when they were made.
