Step-By-Step Guide to Understanding Form Builder Styles
1. Access Applications Menu:
Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Forms’.
2. Navigating to Styles Tab:
Within the 'Form Builder' application, locate and click on the 'Styles' tab.
3. Understanding Page Style:
Page Style pertains to the attributes that affect the appearance of the page hosting the form. You have the option to choose a color for your form's background. Click on the icon to open the color selection menu and pick the desired color.
Note: You also have the option to enter the Hex or RGB values for the color if you prefer.
4. Understanding Form Style:
The Form Style section includes options to customize the form's appearance, including background color, font color, border color, and width, and button appearance.
5. Customizing Background Color:
You can change the form's background color by using the color selection menu, similar to the method used in Page Style. Click on the icon, choose your color, or enter Hex or RGB values.
6. Customizing Font Color:
This option allows you to choose the color for the labels on your form. This option does not change the font color for text entered into the entry fields.
7. Setting Border Color and Width:
The form does not have a border by default. If you want to add a border, first, select a color. After that, you need to set the Border Width to a value greater than 0.
8. Customizing Button Appearance:
You can modify both the background color and the font color of the 'Submit' button in your form for a more visually appealing form.
9. Adjusting Corner Radius:
Corner Radius influences the form's corners' sharpness or softness. At 0, your form will have standard right angles. As you increase the radius, the corners start to round.
Note: Be careful while increasing the corner radius as it can affect the form's appearance, causing labels and entry fields to extend outside the form if set too high.
10. Adjusting Form Width:
The last style option lets you set your form's width. It's set at 100% by default, and as you decrease the percentage, your form will proportionately shrink on the screen.
