What Are Form Styles?
Updated over a week ago

This document provides a deeper look at each of the options found under Styles in the form builder. You can use this document in conjunction with our articles that explain how to create a form:

Page Style

The Page Style section concerns options that affect the page behind the form. Click on the color wheel, which opens a basic color selection menu. You can use the primary selection tool to click on the color you want.

Alternatively, you can enter the specific Hex or RGB values.

Background Color

Similar to page style background color, using the color selection menu will change the background color of the form itself. Click on the color wheel, which opens a basic color selection menu. You can use the primary selection tool to click on the color you want.

Alternatively, you can enter the specific Hex or RGB values.

Font Color

You can use this option to select your preferred color for the labels on your form. This is especially useful when swapping background colors for better legibility. This does not affect the font color for text entered into the entry fields.

Border Color

This option allows you to select the color you would like for the border surrounding the form. Be aware that your form does not have a border by default. If you select a border color, you must increase the Border Width to at least 1 Pixel.

Button Background Color

This allows you to customize the background color of your Submit button. This is useful for creating nice coloration effects to make your form more visually attractive.

Button Font Color

This allows you to customize the color of the font on your button only. Be sure that the Submit text is clearly legible against your background color.

Border Width

This provides an easy-to-use sliding scale where you can adjust your border width to be anywhere from 0 Pixels to 100. Set this to your liking to create an attractive border effect around your form.

Corner Radius

The corner radius references how sharp or soft the four corners of your form appear. At 0 Pixels, your form features the standard right angles. As you increase the radius, the edges begin to round out.

Note - Be aware that setting your corner radius higher can affect the appearance of your form depending on the elements present. It is possible to round the form until your labels and entry fields extend outside of the form.

Form Width

The final style option allows you to set the width of the form itself. This is set to 100% size by default. As you decrease the percentage, your form will shrink on screen proportionately.

Those are all of the Style options currently available in the form builder. Happy building!
