Step-By-Step Guide to Setting Up DNS Records for Your Site with DreamHost

1. Access DreamHost Dashboard:

Log into your DreamHost account.

2. Navigate to Manage Domains:

On the left-hand side of your DreamHost dashboard, select 'Domains'. From the drop-down list that appears, select 'Manage Domains'.

3. Access DNS Settings:

Find your domain in the list and click on the 'DNS' link located beneath it.

4. Locate Add a Custom DNS Record Section:

Scroll down the page until you come across the section titled 'Add a Custom DNS Record'.

5. Add CNAME Record:

In the 'Name' field, type in 'www'. For 'Type', select 'CNAME'. In the 'Value' field, type 's.multiscreensite.com'. Click 'Add Record Now!'.

6. Add First A Record:

For the next record, select 'A' as the 'Type'. In the 'Value' field, type '35.172.94.1'. Click 'Add Record Now!'.

7. Add Second A Record:

For the following record, again select 'A' as the 'Type'. This time, in the 'Value' field, input '100.24.208.97'. Click 'Add Record Now!'.

Note: Your custom domain will now direct to your website. Although this might occur swiftly, it can take up to 48 hours for your registrar to propagate these new DNS settings. Please allow for this full period before attempting to modify your settings again.
