We will require partner access via your Business Manager to begin work on your campaign. By utilizing these steps, you will be adding “Dashboard Connection” as a partner.
Note - This does not work if you are a partner yourself. In this case, the company must grant partner access using these instructions.
Log in to Facebook and click on the Business Manager at the top of the page. Go to ‘Business Settings.’
Locate the toolbar on the left and select ‘Partners’ which you can find below Users.
Next, click the blue ‘+ Add’ button.
Under Partner Business ID, enter this number exactly: 999966873361100. Click ‘Next.’
You should be on the Assign Assets screen. From here, go to 'Pages' and select the correct business page. Click on the toggle switch for ‘Manage Page' to grant us the necessary permissions.
Select ‘Ad Accounts.’ Locate the correct Facebook ad account to grant us access. If you also want Instagram ads, select 'Instagram Accounts' and check off the correct account.
Locate the blue 'Assign Assets' button and click it.
Select ‘Pixels.’ Locate the pixel for the business and select the toggle to enable ‘Manage Pixel.’
Select ‘Domains’, select the toggle, and share the domain you intend to use.
Finally, select ‘Save Changes.’
If you follow these steps correctly, we will receive invitations to manage your Facebook page, Ad account, and Instagram account. While you're here, you may need to verify that your client has an active billing method within Facebook Ads Manager. To do so, follow these steps:
Ask your client to log into Facebook Ads Manager.
Navigate to Payment Settings.
You will see a list of all available payment methods. If your client does not have one or needs to update their payment method, simply select 'Add Payment Method' above.
