How to Access Your TikTok Ads Onboarding

After your successful checkout, you and your client will need to fill out onboarding documentation.

Purchasing a subscription for a client will prompt our system to send an automated email on your behalf prompting them to access the sub-account for their business. After gaining access to their new sub-account, they will be able to find and complete the onboarding for the TikTok Ads service.

Alternatively, you may choose to send the onboarding to yourself at the time of checkout. When you are prompted with 'Who is This Order for?', select Send the Onboarding to Me. We will then send the documents to your registered email address.

Know that you can also find any onboarding forms by navigating to the Projects app. Then, select your client and click Forms.

The onboarding is easy to complete and requests the following information:

Company Information

This is basic preliminary information about the client's business. This includes:

  • Company Name

  • Company Address

  • Company Phone Number

  • Company Email

  • Website URL

Note that all of these fields are required.

TikTok Account Access

This section is what allows us to gain access to your TikTok account. Be aware that you must have the following:

  • A General TikTok Account

  • A TikTok Ads Account

If you do not have these, you must create them before proceeding. You and the client are responsible for this process.

We strongly encourage sharing account credentials to avoid any issues or delays with your service. However, if you must utilize an alternative method, be sure to check out this help article for more information.

In the bottom half of this tab, you may provide a landing page. We will direct any ad clicks to this page. This is entirely optional and we cannot create a landing page for your campaign.

Business Information

This section allows us to gain greater insight into the business. Answering these questions will help our team in creating the most effective ads for the campaign and will also assist in targeting.

These questions pertain to strengths & weaknesses, average sale numbers, target locations, and primary competitors.

Note that all of these fields are required.

Branding Information

This section helps us understand what types of ads you would like our team to create. Here, you can provide detailed instructions on what to include or avoid in any ad copy.

You can also highlight important factors such as legal disclosures, awards, or marketing limitations we need to be aware of.

Campaign Information

This information pertains to the specific campaign requested with this purchase. We want to gain a preliminary idea of your budget, your objectives, and your ideal audience.

You can also notify us of any existing custom audiences you may have already built within the TikTok Ads account. This can help us in optimizing your campaign further as opposed to starting from scratch.

Ad Scheduling

This section allows you to control when your TikTok Ads should appear. You can select the specific days and times as necessary.

This section is entirely optional.

Additional Notes

Finally, the last page provides you with the ability to include any additional notes. If you or the client has any specific thoughts that you wish to express regarding the campaign, this is the place to do so.

When you are finished, be sure to click Submit Form.

If you cannot finish the onboarding in one sitting, be aware that you can save your progress by clicking Save in the top-right corner. It will also notify you of the last auto-save at any time.

After we receive your onboarding, we will begin the process of setting up your campaigns. If you chose not to provide login credentials, be sure to notify your representative as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary delays.
