Step-By-Step Guide to Setting up a Custom Domain for Your Funnel With Google Domains

1. Configure Domain With Google Domains:

Go to your Google Domains dashboard and select the domain you want to modify. Click on the menu and then DNS. Under “Resource records,” click on Custom records and then Manage records. Here, you'll add the DNS records generated in DashClicks.

2. Add a CNAME Record to the Domain:

Add a CNAME record. For the host and value, use the ones generated in the DashClicks dashboard. There is a 'Copy' button which places the text in your clipboard so you can paste them as needed.

3. Add Two TXT Records to the Domain:

Add two TXT Records. For the host and value, use the ones generated in the DashClicks dashboard. There is a 'Copy' button which places the text in your clipboard so you can paste them as needed. Remember, there should be two different TXT records.

4. Validate Domain Configuration:

Once complete, press the 'Validate Domain Configuration' button in DashClicks. This should validate the domain, making sure that the DNS records have been configured properly. If they have, then you'll see that the domain and SSL statuses should show 'Connected'. If not, double check the DNS records. You can always reach out to our support team for additional help.

Note: DNS records may take 24–48 hours to update across the entire internet. Different internet users may get different results when they try to visit or use your site during that time.
