Step-By-Step Guide to Setting up a Custom Domain for Your Funnel With NameCheap

1. Sign into Your NameCheap Account:

Access your domain settings by logging into your NameCheap account.

2. Access Domain List:

On the left sidebar, select 'Domain List' and then click 'Manage' next to your domain.

3. Access Advanced DNS Tab:

At the top of the page, click the 'Advanced DNS' tab.

4. Add New Host Record:

In the 'Host Records' section, click the 'Add New Record' button.

Note: If you're unable to edit Host Records, your domain may be pointed to a third-party name server or our hosting servers. In this case, you'll need to add or update the DNS records at your current DNS provider or in your cPanel.

5. Add a CNAME Record:

Add a CNAME record to the domain. For the host and value, use the ones generated in the DashClicks Funnels dashboard. There is a 'Copy' button which places the text in your clipboard so you can paste them as needed.

6. Add Two TXT Records:

Add two TXT records to the domain. For the host and value, use the ones generated in the DashClicks Funnels dashboard. There is a 'Copy' button which places the text in your clipboard so you can paste them as needed. Remember, there should be two different TXT records.

7. Validate Domain Configuration:

Once complete, return to DashClicks Funnels dashboard and press the 'Validate Domain Configuration' button. This should validate the domain, making sure that the DNS records have been configured properly. If they have, then you'll see that the domain and SSL statuses should show 'Connected'. If not, double check the DNS records. You can always reach out to our support team for additional help.

Note: DNS records may take 24โ€“48 hours to update across the entire internet. Different internet users may get different results when they try to visit or use your site during that time.
