Step-By-Step Guide to Adding Facebook Ads Analytics Within Projects
The best method to perform this integration is to have your sub-accounts log in to their dashboard and perform the integration as mentioned in the Facebook Ads Analytics help document. You can also SSO into your clients' account from your dashboard, access their Analytics app, and use their Facebook credentials to perform the integration. Alternatively, you can follow the directions below to perform the integration using the Projects app.
Note: If you are performing the integration for your clients either by SSO or within the Projects app, it's important to use your client's Facebook login credentials. Inputting your credentials to try to find the correct integration (if the client had given you access), will force the token to get saved in the system, resulting in your client being able to see other assets in your Facebook account belonging to other clients.
1. Access Applications Menu:
Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Projects’.
2. Initiate New Integration:
Select the appropriate project in the left menu then click '+ Add New' from the top of the page.
3. Select Facebook Ads Integration:
From the list, select the Facebook Ads integration and then click 'Continue'.
4. Authenticate Your Account:
An authentication window will appear, prompting you to log into your client's Facebook business account. Follow the instructions to grant our dashboard access to the account (make sure you are using your client's login credentials).
Note: Data may not populate immediately in the application as it takes time to process.
5. Verify Facebook Ads Account:
Check the integration of your Facebook Ads account by accessing the Facebook Ads tab at the top of the page. On the right side of the page, you should see an icon that reads ID. Hover over this to confirm your account ID.
Note: For information regarding Facebook Ads Analytics Metrics, you can see the bottom portion of the Facebook Ads Analytics help document.
