Step-By-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Custom Dashboard Domain with NameCheap

1. Access NameCheap:

Log into your NameCheap account.

2. Navigate to Domain List:

On the left navigation bar, select 'Domain List'.

3. Select Desired Domain:

Find the domain you wish to edit and click 'Manage'.

4. Access Advanced DNS:

Click on 'Advanced DNS'.

5. Add New Record:

Click on the '+ADD NEW RECORD' in red.

6. Choose Record Type:

In the dropdown field, select 'CNAME'.

7. Add Subdomain Prefix:

In the 'Host Input Type' field, add a prefix for your subdomain. The prefix is what appears before the original domain name. For example, if you were configuring the domain for dash.mydomain.com, you would input 'dash' in the 'Host Input Type' field.

8. Input Target Value:

In the 'Target Value' field, enter 's.dashboardmode.com'.

9. Verify and Save Changes:

Check that each field is correct. Then, click 'Save Changes' to finalize.

After completing these steps, refer back to the primary article to finish setting up your custom dashboard domain. Please note, changes to DNS settings can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate across the internet.

Note: This guide is for users utilizing NameCheap. If your domain is hosted by another provider, the process might differ. Please consult your provider's support documentation or contact their support team for precise instructions.
