Step-By-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Custom Dashboard Domain with Ionos

1. Access Ionos:

Log into your Ionos account.

2. Navigate to Manage Domain:

Located in the middle of the screen, select 'Manage Domain'.

3. Access DNS Settings:

From the navigation menu, choose 'DNS'.

4. Add Record:

Select the option 'Add Record'.

5. Choose Record Type:

Click on 'CNAME'.

6. Add Subdomain Prefix:

In the 'Host Name' field, add a prefix for your subdomain. The prefix is what appears before the original domain name. For example, if you were configuring the domain for, you would input 'dash' in the 'Host Name' field.

7. Input Value:

In the 'Points To' field, enter ''.

8. Leave TTL Settings:

Leave the 'TTL' field at the default 1 hour.

9. Verify and Save Record:

Check that each field is correct. Then, select 'Save' to finalize.
