Our platform offers you the convenient ability to change your company’s dashboard to a custom domain of your choosing. This guide will provide easy-to-follow instructions on how to set up your domain with Ionos.

Set Up Your Custom Dashboard Domain with Ionos

  1. Log in to your Ionos account.

  2. Click on “Manage Domain” in the middle of the screen.

  3. In the navigation menu, select “DNS”.

  4. Select “Add Record”.

  5. Click on “CNAME”.

  6. In the Host Name field, add a prefix for your subdomain. The prefix is what appears before the original domain name, e.g. XXXXX.dashboardmode.com (this example is the temporary domain we use until you set up your custom domain name).

  7. In the Points To field, enter “s.dashboardmode.com”.

  8. Leave the TTL field at the default 1 hour.

  9. Verify that each field is correct. Then, click “Save.”

  10. After completing these instructions, head back to the original help article to finish setting up your custom dashboard domain.

Optional Steps:

  1. You may receive a message stating “service will be disabled.” If you receive this message, scroll down and click “Save” once more.

  2. Once you are on the DNS screen again, confirm that the new CNAME record exists.
