Our platform offers you the convenient ability to change your company’s dashboard to a custom domain of your choosing. This guide will provide easy-to-follow instructions on how to set up your domain with GoDaddy.
How to Set Up Your Custom Dashboard Domain with GoDaddy
Log in to your GoDaddy account.
Find and click on “Domain Control Center”.
Click on the domain you wish to edit.
On this page, look for “Additional Settings” and click on “Manage DNS”.
Under Records, select “Add”.
In the Type field, select “CNAME”.
In the Name field, add a prefix for your subdomain. The prefix is what appears before the original domain name, e.g. XXXXX.dashboardmode.com (this example is the temporary domain we use until you set up your custom domain name).
In the Points To field, enter “s.dashboardmode.com”.
In the TTL field, select a time frame, e.g. 1 hour.
Verify that each field is correct. Then, select “Save”.
After completing these instructions, head back to the original help article to finish setting up your custom dashboard domain.
