Step-By-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Custom Dashboard Domain with GoDaddy

1. Access GoDaddy:

Log into your GoDaddy account.

2. Access Domain Control Center:

Find and click on 'Domain Control Center'.

3. Select Desired Domain:

Choose the domain you wish to edit.

4. Manage DNS:

Look for 'Additional Settings' and select 'Manage DNS'.

5. Add DNS Record:

Under 'Records', select 'Add'.

6. Choose Record Type:

In the 'Type' field, select 'CNAME'.

7. Add Subdomain Prefix:

In the 'Name' field, add a prefix for your subdomain. The prefix is what appears before the original domain name. For example, if you were configuring the domain for dash.mydomain.com, you would input 'dash' in the 'Name' field.

8. Input Value:

In the 'Value' field, enter 's.dashboardmode.com'.

9. Set Time To Live (TTL):

In the 'TTL' field, select a time frame, for instance, 1 hour.

10. Verify and Save Record:

Ensure each field is filled correctly, then select 'Save'.

After completing these steps, refer back to the primary article to finish setting up your custom dashboard domain. Please note, changes to DNS settings can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate across the internet.

Note: This guide is for users utilizing GoDaddy. If your domain is hosted by another provider, the process might differ. Please consult your provider's support documentation or contact their support team for precise instructions.
