Step-By-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Custom Dashboard Domain with Cloudflare

1. Access Cloudflare:

Log into your Cloudflare account.

2. Select Desired Domain:

On the page, locate and select the domain you wish to use.

3. Access DNS Settings:

At the top of the page, select the 'DNS' tab.

4. Add a New DNS Record:

Click on '+ Add Record' at the top of the list of your DNS records.

5. Choose Record Type:

In the 'Type' field, select 'CNAME'.

6. Define Subdomain Prefix:

In the 'Name' field, add a prefix for your subdomain. The prefix is what appears before the original domain name. For example, if you were configuring the domain for dash.mydomain.com, you would input 'dash' in the 'Name' field.

7. Enter Target Value:

In the 'Target' field, enter 's.dashboardmode.com'.

8. Adjust Proxy Status:

Under 'Proxy Status', select 'DNS Only'.

9. Leave Default TTL:

Keep the 'TTL' field as the default option.

10. Verify and Save Record:

Review that each field is correctly filled in. Then, select 'Save' to finalize your changes.

After completing these steps, please refer back to the primary article to finish setting up your custom dashboard domain. Please note, changes to DNS settings can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate across the internet.

Note: This guide is for users utilizing Cloudflare. If your domain is hosted by another provider, the process might differ. Please consult your provider's support documentation or contact their support team for precise instructions.
