Step-By-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Custom Dashboard Domain with Google Domains

1. Access Google Domains:

Visit and log into your Google Domains account.

2. Locate DNS Tab:

In your Google Domains account, locate and click on the 'DNS' tab.

3. Find Custom Resource Records:

Scroll down until you find a section labeled 'Custom Resource Records'.

4. Input Subdomain Prefix:

In the 'Name' field, add a prefix for your subdomain. The prefix is what appears before the original domain name. For example, if you were configuring the domain for dash.mydomain.com, you would input 'dash' in the 'Name' field.

5. Select Record Type:

In the 'Type' dropdown field, select 'CNAME'.

6. Enter Data:

In the 'Data' field, input 's.dashboardmode.com'.

7. Set Time To Live (TTL):

In the 'TTL' field, input '1H'.

8. Confirm and Add Record:

Ensure each field is correctly filled. To complete the process, click 'Add'.

After these steps, refer back to the primary article to finalize setting up your custom dashboard domain. Please note that changes to DNS settings can take up to 48 hours to propagate fully across the internet.

Note: This guide is for users utilizing Google Domains. If your domain is hosted by another provider, the process might differ. Please consult your provider's support documentation or contact their support team for precise instructions.
