Step-By-Step Guide to Adding DNS Records for Your Custom Branded Email Domain with NameCheap

1. Access NameCheap:

Log into your NameCheap account.

2. Navigate to Domain List:

On the left navigation menu, click on 'Domain List'.

3. Select the Desired Domain:

Find and select the domain you want to use. Then, click 'Manage' next to it.

4. Access Advanced DNS:

Click 'Advanced DNS'.

5. Initiate Adding New Record:

Find and click '+ ADD NEW RECORD'.

6. Select Record Type:

Choose 'CNAME' from the dropdown.

7. Input Generated Host:

In the 'Host' field, enter the Host that was generated in the dashboard.

Note: Additional information on generating the host is in the primary article.

8. Input Value:

In the 'Value' field, enter the Value that was generated in the dashboard.

Note: Additional information on generating the Value is in the primary article.

9. Select TTL:

Choose 'TTL' (the default setting is recommended).

10. Confirm and Save Changes:

Review all the entered details. If everything appears correct, click the green checkmark symbol to 'Save Changes'. Repeat this process two more times to ensure all three CNAME records have been added.

11. Validate:

Once completed, navigate back to your dashboard and select 'Validate'. If the CNAME records were entered correctly, you should be all set to continue with your custom branded email domain in the dashboard. Refer back to the primary article to finish setting up your custom branded email domain.

Note: The configuration process may vary if your domain is hosted by a provider other than NameCheap. Please consult your provider's support documentation or contact their support team for precise instructions.
