Step-By-Step Guide to Adding DNS Records for Your Custom Branded Email Domain with Google Domains

1. Access Google Domains:

Log into your Google Domains account.

2. Navigate to the DNS Tab:

Find and select the 'DNS' tab to access your DNS records.

3. Locate Custom Resource Records Section:

Scroll on this page until you locate the 'Custom Resource Records' section. Click the '+' symbol to begin adding the new record.

4. Add Generated Host:

In the 'Name' field, enter the Host that was generated in the dashboard.

Note: Additional information on generating the host is in the primary article.

5. Select Record Type:

In the 'Type' dropdown field, select 'CNAME'.

6. Set TTL:

In the 'TTL' field, enter '1H'.

7. Input Value:

In the 'Data' field, enter the Value that was generated in the dashboard.

Note: Additional information on generating the Value is in the primary article.

8. Add Record:

Check that each field is correct, then select 'Add'. Repeat this process two more times to ensure all three CNAME records have been added.

9. Validate:

Once completed, navigate back to your dashboard and select 'Validate'. If the CNAME records were entered correctly, you should be all set to continue with your custom branded email domain in the dashboard. Refer back to the primary article to finish setting up your custom branded email domain.

Note: The configuration process may vary if your domain is hosted by a provider other than Google Domains. Please consult your provider's support documentation or contact their support team for precise instructions.
