Step-By-Step Guide to Adding DNS Records for Your Custom Branded Email Domain with HostGator

1. Access HostGator:

Log into your HostGator domain account.

2. Navigate to the Domains Section:

Scroll within your HostGator account until you locate the 'Domains' section. Here, select the 'Zone Editor'.

3. Locate 'Add a CNAME Record' Section:

In the control panel, look for a section titled 'Add a CNAME Record'.

4. Add Generated Host:

In the 'Name' field, input the Host that was generated in the dashboard.

Note: More details on generating the host can be found in the primary article.

5. Input Value:

In the 'CNAME' field, input the Value that was generated in the dashboard.

Note: More details on generating the Value can be found in the primary article.

6. Add Record:

Check that each field is accurate, then select 'Add A CNAME Record'. Repeat this process two more times to ensure all three CNAME records are added.

7. Validate:

Once done, navigate back to your dashboard and select 'Validate'. If the CNAME records were input correctly, you should be all set to continue with your custom branded email domain in the dashboard. Refer back to the primary article to complete setting up your custom branded email domain.

Note: The configuration process might vary if your domain is hosted by a provider other than HostGator. Please refer to your provider's support documentation or contact their support team for precise instructions.
