Step-By-Step Guide to Utilizing Form Builder Options
1. Access Applications Menu:
Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Forms’.
2. Navigate to Form Options:
Once you're in the 'Form Builder' application, ensure you're in the 'Options' tab, located at the top of the page.
3. Modify Form Name:
This reflects the initial name you provided for your form during creation. You can modify the name here whenever necessary.
4. Use Category Option:
The 'Category' feature enables better organization of your forms. Establish a new category by selecting the '+' symbol on the right. Afterward, choose your preferred categories using the dropdown menu.
5. Apply Tags:
Tags further assist in organizing your forms. Generate new tags by clicking on the '+' symbol on the right, then select a tag using the dropdown menu.
6. Set 'On Submit' Action:
This determines the action that takes place after a user clicks the 'Submit' button on your form. The dropdown menu lets you choose one of two options: 'Message' or 'Redirect URL'. 'Message' displays a custom message, for example, 'Your response has been received!'. 'Redirect URL' directs the user to a new webpage that you specify in the subsequent box.
7. Implement Facebook Pixel Tracking:
The last three options relate to integrating your Facebook Pixel with your form. This is beneficial if your form is being used in conjunction with a Facebook Ads campaign. The Facebook Pixel is an effective tool that collects data and tracks conversions from users who interact with your ads. Input the ID of your Facebook Pixel in the provided field. Then, select the event you wish to trigger for both 'On Page View' and 'On Submit'. A typical setup might involve setting 'On Page View' to 'PageView' and 'On Submit' to 'Lead'. This will reveal how many users visited your form versus how many completed and submitted it.
