Step-By-Step Guide to Creating Custom Properties in Your Deal Card

1. Access Applications Menu:

Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Deals’.

2. Navigate to the 'My Deals' Tab:

On the 'Deals' application, proceed to the 'My Deals' tab.

3. Open the Desired Deal:

Identify the deal you want to customize and click on its name.

4. Access Deal Properties:

Inside the deal card, find and click on 'About This Deal'. Scroll down to the bottom of the category until you see 'Save' and 'Cancel' buttons. On the left of these buttons, click 'Manage Properties'.

5. Adjust Available Properties:

A new page showcasing all available properties will appear. Use the left column to rearrange these properties according to your preference. You can add or remove a property from the view by clicking on 'Remove From View' or 'Add to View'. If you wish to duplicate a property, click on 'Clone'.

Note: You cannot move or remove the 'Deal Name' or 'Stage'. Also, system default values cannot be deleted permanently. Only custom values can be removed completely.

6. Create a Custom Property:

Click on '+ New Property' at the top of the page.

7. Define New Property:

A 'Create Property' menu will appear from the right. Here, input the 'Name' and 'Type' of the new property. For example, to include a Facebook URL for your deals, name the field 'Facebook URL' and select 'Website' under field type. This indicates that the property requires a valid URL.

8. Review Additional Field Types:

There are several field types available for you to choose from. Some include 'Single-Line Text', 'Multi-Line Text', 'Number', 'Phone Number', 'Website', 'Email Address', 'Dropdown Option', 'Yes/No', 'Multiple Checkbox', 'Date & Time', 'Date Picker', and 'Time Picker'. Choose a type that best matches the input required for your new property.

9. Finalize Property Creation:

Once you're happy with your new property's settings, click 'Create' at the bottom of the page.

10. Locate New Property:

Your new property will automatically appear at the bottom of the list and be added to your view by default. If necessary, you can rename the property at any time by clicking on the 'Rename' button.

Note: If you decide to remove your new property, simply click 'Delete'.
