Access Contacts Application

Access Applications Menu:

Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Contacts’.

Step-by-Step Guide to Associating Deals with Contacts

Using DashClicks, you can connect active deals with your contacts. Here are the steps:

1. Access Contact Record:

Hover over the contact you wish to associate with a deal. Click the blue eye icon that pops up, this will open the Contact Preview. From there, click 'View Record' at the bottom to access the record.

2. Locate 'Deals' Section:

Within the contact record, several categories of information are housed in the left column. Search for the 'Deals' category and click on it to expand.

3. Add a Deal:

Click on the '+' icon to initiate the process of adding a deal. A menu titled 'Add Deal' will slide in from the right.

4. Fill in Deal Information:

Input necessary details to create your deal. Please note, an existing Pipeline must be selected from the dropdown for this operation. If no pipelines have been created, you will need to create one within the 'Deals' application.

5. Input Required Fields:

Required categories include 'Stage', 'Deal Name', and 'Status'. 'Stage' contains the stage names created for this specific pipeline. Select the appropriate one, then move on to 'Deal Name' and 'Status'. 'Open' status indicates that a follow-up with the client is needed. 'Won' or 'Lost' status indicates the outcome of the deal.

6. Optional Fields:

Additional, non-required fields include 'Expected Value', 'Currency', and 'Expected Close Date'. Fill these in as needed.

7. Save Deal:

Once all the necessary fields are filled in, click 'Add' at the bottom of the screen. Your deal will now appear under the 'Deals' category in the contact record.

Note: The same process can be applied to associate deals with business contacts. This helps you and your team keep your deals and contacts organized efficiently.

Creating a New Deal from Contact Card

Should you not have any existing deals, a new one can be created from the contact card.

1. Access 'Deals' Section:

Click on the '+' icon within the 'Deals' section.

2. Input Required Fields:

A menu titled 'Add Deal' will appear. Fill in all the required fields ('Pipeline', 'Stage', 'Deal Name', and 'Status').

3. Save Deal:

After completing the necessary fields, click 'Save' in the bottom-right corner. Your new deal will now be listed among the associated deals.
