Note: Access to the Projects app is exclusively available to DashClicks Pro plan subscribers.

Recognized File Formats

Before you start uploading files to the Projects app, take note of the following file formats that are currently supported. It includes common file types for images, text documents, video, audio, and applications.

  • Images - JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP

  • Text - Plain, CSV

  • Video - MP4, MPEG, AVI, WEBM, QUICKTIME

  • Audio - X-WAV, MPEG, WAV

  • Application - MSWord, Zip, PDF, RTF, Spreadsheet, PowerPoint, Presentation

Step-By-Step Guide to Upload a File

1. Access Applications Menu:

Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Projects’.

2. Navigate to the Files Tab:

Select the Project you want to access from the column to the left and then select the 'Files' tab at the top of the page.

3. Begin File Upload:

Click 'Upload File' located in the top-right corner. A window will appear prompting you to either drag and drop a file into the field or click the field to browse for a file on your computer.

4. File Upload Completion:

Once you've chosen a file, it will automatically upload, and you will see the file at the top of your list on the original page.

Note: Make sure the file you're trying to upload is in a format that the Projects app recognizes.

Previewing Files

1. Locate Your File:

Find the file you want to preview in the list. If you're having difficulty finding it, use the search bar at the top of the page.

2. Preview the File:

Once you've found the file, click 'Preview' on the far-right side of the list.

Note: The preview function allows you to review files in their designated format without the need to download them.

Renaming a File

1. Access File Rename:

Find the file you want to rename and click the blue pencil icon on its right side.

2. Update File Name:

A prompt will appear asking you to enter a new file name. After entering the new name, click 'Update'.

Downloading a File

1. Locate Your File:

Find the file you want to download from the list.

2. Download the File:

Click the download icon located to the right of the file name to download a copy of the original file.

Deleting a File

1. Access File Deletion:

Find the file you want to delete in the list. Then, click the red trash can icon next to the 'Preview' and 'Edit' buttons.

2. Confirm Deletion:

A prompt will appear asking you to confirm that you want to delete the file. Confirm by clicking 'Delete'.

Note: Be careful as deletion is permanent and the file cannot be recovered after it's deleted.

Deleting Multiple Files

1. Begin Multiple Deletion:

Click the 'Delete Multiple' button located above the file list on the right side of the page.

2. Select Files for Deletion:

Check the box for each file that you want to delete.

3. Confirm Multiple Deletion:

After you've selected all the files you want to delete, click 'Delete'.

Note: As with single file deletion, be aware that this action is irreversible. Once the files are deleted, they cannot be restored.
