Due to popular demand, we now allow all main account owners to access and interact with any sub-account associated with their account.
To search for and access a sub-account:
Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner. Then, click Settings.
In the left-side column, click on Branding.
Scroll down until you see the section titled Sub-Account Search. You will find two options.
Main Menu adds a sub-account search feature to the header of your dashboard. You can find this next to your saved app icons.
App Drawer adds this same feature at the top of your app drawer.
You can turn either of these on or off at any time. You can now enter a sub-account name into the search bar. You can use either the name or the email to find it. Click on the name to automatically sign into that sub-account on a new tab.
What Can I Do with the Sub-Account Single Sign-On Feature?
Logging into a sub-account this way effectively lets you control that dashboard as if you were the sub-account owner. You can now begin setting up various features on behalf of your client.
Remember that sub-accounts only ever have access to:
Dashboard
Contacts
Sites
Templates
Deals
Inbound
Analytics
Forms
Reputation
That means that you can begin interacting with any of these apps on the sub-account owner's behalf.
Here are some ideas you can do to help your sub-account owner get started with their new account:
Set up any Analytics integrations, so that they can track their campaign performance
Set up any new Deals or sales pipelines in the Deals app
Integrate any campaigns you want into Inbound
Create custom email and SMS templates in Templates
Build out a custom form in Forms
Add contacts and set up filters in their Contacts app
Set up their business profile and branding in Settings
Any changes you make to the sub-account will automatically save. The next time the sub-account owner logs into their account, they'll be able to view the work you completed on their behalf.
