Step-By-Step Guide to Automating Review Responses in the Reputation App

1. Access Applications Menu:

Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Reputation’.

2. Access Reputation Settings:

Click on the settings button, which is the gear icon at the top right of the page.

3. Create a New Response Template:

Scroll down to the 'Response Template' section and select '+ New Template'.

4. Set Template Name:

Type in the 'Template Name'. It is suggested to have at least two templates with different names. For instance, one for 'Good Reviews' and another for 'Bad Reviews'. You can create more templates as required.

5. Input a Review Response:

Type your 'Review Response'. This will be the automated reply for this specific template. The 'Personalize' option can be used to include the reviewer's information in the reply, giving it a more personal touch. When finished, press 'Save Template'.

6. Create Auto Response Rules:

Scroll down to the 'Auto Response Rules' section and select '+ Create Rule'.

7. Set Auto Response Title:

Input the 'Auto Response Title'. It is recommended to have at least two of these rules with different names. For instance, one for 'Good Reviews' and another for 'Bad Reviews'. You can create more rules as required.

8. Add Conditions:

Click on '+Add Conditions'. Select the review source, rating given, presence of text (whether the user just gave a star rating or provided text), and select the template that meets those conditions. You can add multiple conditions for each rule as needed. When done, press 'Save Template'.

Note: You can adjust the templates and rules created if necessary by hovering over the names and pressing the gear icon.

9. Manage Response Rules:

You can toggle response rules on or off by choosing the necessary option under the 'Active' column.
