Step-By-Step Guide to Integrating Stripe and Managing Contacts
1. Access Applications Menu:
Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Billing’.
2. Connecting Stripe:
In the Billing app, if you currently do not have a connected Stripe account, an option to '+ Connect Stripe' will appear. Click on this button.
3. Linking Contacts:
Three options will present themselves; link to people contacts, link to business contacts, or skip the step. Choose the option that best suits your current needs, and then press 'Continue' at the top right.
4. Syncing Customer Details:
An option will appear to either sync customer details with Stripe or not to sync. Choose the option that best suits your current needs, and then press 'Continue' at the top right.
5. Mapping Fields:
If you chose to sync, you will now have the opportunity to map fields so everything matches correctly. The 'Column' column shows Stripe properties, while the 'Internal Property' column displays your properties within your CRM in the dashboard. Make alterations as needed, or if everything appears correct, press 'Continue' at the top right.
6. Inputting Stripe Credentials:
A popup will appear prompting you to input your Stripe credentials to complete the setup. Enter your email and password, continue, and then select 'Connect' when the option appears.
7. Setup Completion Confirmation:
If the connection was successful, a prompt will appear informing you that the setup has been completed.
