Note: Access to the Sub-Accounts feature is exclusively available to DashClicks Pro plan subscribers. Rebilling is part of the Sub-Accounts feature.
Step-By-Step Guide to Accessing Rebilling
1. Access Sub-Accounts:
Hover over the navigation bar on the left side of the dashboard. At the very bottom, you'll find a section displaying your name, email, and photo. Click on this section. A menu will pop up; select ’Sub-Accounts’.
2. Navigate to the 'Rebilling' Tab:
Once you're on the 'Sub-Accounts' page, you will see two tabs. Select the 'Rebilling' tab.
What is Rebilling?
Rebilling is a powerful tool that allows you to manage what your sub-accounts are charged for usage across your entire account for SMSs, emails, phone numbers, and Listings. With a simple adjustment in the dashboard, you can control how much your sub-accounts are paying you for microtransactions and add-ons.
Note: You will need to integrate a Stripe account to be able to use Rebilling features.
Stripe Integration
Before integrating Stripe, the Rebilling dashboard will be greyed out.
To integrate your Stripe account, press on the '+ Integrate Stripe' button at the top right. You can select People, Businesses, or Skip and then Continue at the top right to proceed.
Note: If you integrated Stripe in either the Billing app or Rebilling, it’ll unlock both.
After integration, the widgets will no longer be greyed out and you can make adjustments as needed.
Note: Making changes in Rebilling changes the prices for ALL your sub-accounts.
General
SMS, Emails, and Lightning Domains Widgets
The SMS and Emails widgets work in very similar ways.
The slider allows you to set a multiple amount that your sub-accounts will be charged for specific usage and can be set from 1x to 10x. The "You Pay" number will not change but as you move the slider across, you'll see the other numbers change dynamically.
For Lightning Domains, there is an edit button next to the 'Sub-account pays' area that allows you to enter the number you want to resell the Lightning Domains for. That number will cause the Profit area to change dynamically.
Note: Both you and your sub-accounts will need to have funds in your OneBalance for all of this to function properly. Our system will perform two checks when SMSs, emails, and Lightning Domains are used in sub-accounts, the main account OneBalance and the sub-account OneBalance. If the sub-account does not have enough funds in their OneBalance for the transactions, they will be prompted to add funds. If the sub-account has enough funds but the main account does not, the sub-account will receive a prompt to contact their administrator. At that point, it would be the main account's responsibility to add funds to OneBalance so the sub-account can continue to use SMSs, emails, and Lightning Domains as needed.
Add-Ons
Phone Numbers and Listings Widgets
The Phone Numbers and Listings widgets do not work the same way, however, when it comes to how your sub-accounts are charged, they are similar in that respect.
For phone numbers, similar to how the SMS and Emails widgets work, the slider allows you to set a multiple amount that your sub-accounts will be charged for specific usage and can be set from 1x to 10x. The 'You Pay' number will not change but as you move the slider across, you'll see the other numbers change dynamically.
For Listings, there is an edit button next to the 'Sub-account pays' area that allows you to enter the number you want to resell the Listings add-on for. That number will cause the Profit area to change dynamically.
Note: Add-ons are not controlled by OneBalance. When your sub-accounts purchase a phone number or Listings, they will be paying you directly with their card on file. That charge will appear in your integrated Stripe account. Then, DashClicks will charge the card on your profile the "You Pay" amount. If for some reason that charge is declined, you will get notified as the add-ons will not activate for your sub-accounts until the payment is processed from the main account to DashClicks.
Logs
The top right of the page contains a button that says 'View Logs'. Pressing on that will take you to your OneBalance which show all usage within OneBalance. It'll show funds that have been added to the balance, usage that has caused balance depletion, and any other activity in OneBalance.
Note: The pricing for SMS messages and phone numbers are based on USA/Canada pricing. International pricing will be billed at different rates based on the country.
Note: SMS rates will be billed in segments of 160 characters per message/credit. This means that if messages exceed 160 characters, you can be billed for two or more credits. If you are injecting personal data in your automations, please keep in mind that the length of that injected data can impact the credits used.
Note: SMS usage is based on incoming and outgoing SMSs while emails are ONLY based on outgoing, incoming emails do not deplete from your usage
