The Dashboard application is the home page for your entire platform experience. This is a fully customizable page that provides each user with the ability to personalize their page view and get the updates that matter most as soon as they log in to your account.
This document will walk you through the basics of using the Dashboard so that you can get yours up and running as soon as possible.
Accessing the Dashboard App
The Dashboard will always be your default home page any time you log into your account unless you change this in your settings.
However, you can always navigate back to your dashboard from other apps by using the app drawer in the top-right corner of the page.
Navigating the Dashboard
The Dashboard application is likely the easiest to navigate within the entire platform. This is because its primary purpose is to display summaries from each of your applications through widgets.
There is currently at least one widget for every application available on the platform. Each widget is separated into its own box within the page. You can identify the widget by the title in black as well as the app icon in the top-right corner of each.
The icon corresponds with the same icon for each application in the app drawer. The bolded text tells you which metrics each widget displays.
You will also notice that certain widgets have a button with three vertical lines. The Deals app widget features this in the picture above. Clicking this button allows you to customize the data displayed on the widget by showing information for a specified period of time. Select a new period and the widget will update accordingly.
Finally, the dashboard features an Edit button in the top-right corner that allows you to customize your dashboard experience.
Editing the Dashboard
Clicking the Edit button will cause the page to enter the editor view. This splits the page into three sections from left to right: your currently displayed widgets, a widget preview, and a list of available applications.
The preview section and the app selector work together as the preview displays the available widgets for the selected application only. As you select new applications from the list, the preview will update with new widgets.
If a widget contains a red - icon, it means that the widget is already part of your dashboard. Clicking this icon will remove it from the dashboard view. If you are not currently using a widget, this will be a green + icon instead. Clicking that icon will add it to your dashboard.
After adding your desired widgets, you can begin to rearrange them however you would like using the leftmost section. Click on a widget anywhere to drag and drop it above, below, left, or right of other widgets. When you’re satisfied with your dashboard layout, click on Save in the top-right corner.
