Step-By-Step Guide to Accessing and Reading Website Analytics in Projects

1. Access Applications Menu:

Hover over the navigation bar to the left of the dashboard and select ‘Projects’.

2. Navigate to the Website Tab:

Within the Projects app, select the Website tab.

3. Select Sub-Account:

Identify and select the sub-account you want to review using the column on the left.

4. Access Basic Overview:

An overview of the analytics will be presented at the bottom of the page.

5. Switch to Advanced Analytics:

If you need more detailed information, locate the toggle in the top-right corner of the page and switch it to 'Analytics'.

Overviews

1. Understanding the Basic Overview

The basic overview presents several essential analytics categories:

  • Published - Shows if the website is active and ready to connect to a custom domain.

  • SSL Active - Shows the status of the SSL Certificate that authenticates your website and protects customer information.

  • Domain Active - Indicates if the website is connected to a domain. Without a connected domain, the website cannot be found online.

  • ID - A unique identifier for the website, mainly used for internal purposes.

  • Total Views - The total number of views the website has had since it became active in this account.

  • Form Submissions - Total count of received form submissions.

  • Click to Call - The number of times users have clicked the call links.

  • Map Clicks - The number of times users have clicked on the map to locate the business.

2. Understanding the Advanced Analytics

The Advanced Analytics provide more detailed metrics, charted over a chosen time period:

  • Select Time Period - Use the calendar at the top of the page to define the time period you wish to review.

  • Visits - This shows the total number of website visits within the selected time period.

  • Visitors - This shows the number of unique visitors to the website in the designated time period.

  • Page Views - This details the total number of individual page views during the designated period.

  • Browser - This provides the number of website visits from unique browser types.

  • Operating System - This details how many visits your website receives from unique operating systems.

  • Breakdown of Visits by Country - This highlights visits by location during the selected time period.

  • Form Responses - This section lists all of the website’s current form responses.

Note: You can export Form Responses by clicking 'Export' in the top-right corner if this section. This will download all form responses as a CSV file.
